About the Company

In the late 1990’s, OK Consulting was founded by Henry Olsson (LL.M.) and Tarja Koskinen-Olsson (MBA). The combination of their legal and business knowledge, great global networks and internationally acclaimed professional reputation as well as long experience on the ground laid the foundation for the company.

During the years 2003–2025 OK Consulting offered education and training, consulting and dispute settlement services. Different organizations in all parts of the world used the company as their trusted knowledge partner. Throughout the years hundreds of participants especially in developing countries enjoyed the benefits of different training courses and used publications written by Henry, Tarja and later also by Mari Wallgren.

Henry dedicated most of his career to intellectual property rights, leaving a great legacy in the field of IP law. Henry was known worldwide for his vast experience, deep knowledge and understanding of intellectual property rights as well as his diplomatic skills, ability to maneuver in international settings and most of all his friendly personality. He passed awa in July 2021, but his legacy will live on in his publications and teachings as well as many fond memories.

Mari joined the company full-time in 2019 as a Project Manager planning and executing different types of trainings and other projects together with Tarja. In 2022 she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer taking on the responsibility for all operational matters in the company. Mari is currently concentrating on providing governance and leadership advisory services under the name LeadMWell but continues to serve clients at O&K Consulting on an on-demand basis.

The company has evolved over the years and adapted its services to the changes in the operational environment and the needs of the customers. However, the core still remains the same: a combination of legal and business expertise, global networks and real-life experience offered to customers around the globe.

The year 2026 marked a new era for the company as Tarja started her well-deserved retirement. The work that was started more than 25 years ago can continue with the network of great experts that have been involved in the work and teaching activities throughout the years.
